January is Walk Your Dog Month!

January is Walk Your Dog Month and what better way to kick start your New Years Resolutions by reading some great YA books that feature dogs?  If you are like me, you love dogs and want to spend more time with them because they just get you.  This awareness month is a great way to help dust off the January blues, read a few good books, maybe go out and adopt a new dog, or if you already have one start taking him/her out for more walks.  It's a fun way to get out of the house and your dog will love you for it! We're kicking off the new year with our Top Ten Most Anticipated Reads of 2019. There are some highly anticipated releases coming out this year. I don't think it's any surprise that once again we have a few similar books on our lists. Like Cassandra Clare's Chain of GoldHolly Black's The Wicked King, and Leigh Bardugo's King of Scars


Who is excited that Cassie has three books coming out this year?! She has The Red Scrolls of Magic she co-wrote with Wesley Chu coming out this spring, Ghosts of the Shadow Market coming out this summer (the individual ebooks were released in 2018), and than Chain of Gold this November.
